I have been writing poetry since I was 5 or 6 years old and present here a
sampling taken from a private publication prepared for my classmates of the
class of 1941 from Ball High School in Galveston, Texas, in honor of our
61st reunion at the end of March, 2001.
I hope you
will find
some pleasure in reading these few offerings, and that the images created
will be as
delightful to the reader as they were to me to view and write about. |
