2pkgscherry jello (black cherry if you can still find it)
1lg canblack cherries, pitted and drained, retain the juice
.as neededwater

Drain the cherries and retain the juice. Pour juice into a measuring cup and add water to make 2 cups liquid.

Mix in cherry jello and heat in microwave as you would a cup of coffee or tea. Stir mix until jello is dissolved. This may take reheating.

Stir the cherries into the liquid and pour into a mold. Refrigerate.

This is a very thick jello, using half the recommended water. If it's too thick for your taste, add some cold water after the jello is dissolved.
