The Brigadier Generals Lansing are also Henry Livingston, Jr. descendants, and brothers. Their parents were, clearly, name-challenged. Henry Seymour was named for the father of New York Governor Horatio Seymour. And, of course, the two most famous descendants of Gilbert Livingston - George H.W. and George W. Bush!
