William Sturges Thomas came back from the WWI ready to put his energy into bringing Henry's case to the public. He corresponded with all the descendants who had been on the same quest for the past 40 years. But he was young, and they were getting old, and they transferred what they had collected to William, and transferred their hopes as well. He attacked the problem on several levels.
