Mr. Adamovich, 55, died Feb. 14, 2000, at his home in Colorado Springs. He was a security coordinator with School District 11 and worked in law enforcement with the El Paso County and Teller County sheriff's offices for 20 years. He served as a sergeant in the Marine Corps for four years and was awarded four Purple Hearts in the Vietnam War.
Mr. Adamovich was born Oct. 18, 1944, in Chicago, to Michael and Mary (Delich) Adamovich, who are deceased. He was married Nov. 11, 1988, to Mary E. White-Lamdin.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Sara Lamdin; and a brother, Tedd.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church, 522 E. Madison St. Inurnment will be private. Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N.
