| 1/4 | teaspoon | baking powder |
| 1 1/2 | teaspoons | vanilla |

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well. Blend in sour cream. Sift flour, measure, sift again with baking powder. Add flour mixture in 4 or 5 parts to first mixture, blending well each time. Add vanilla. Pour into well-greased 2 to 2 1/2 quart mold or 9" tube pan, and bake at 350 degrees for one hour, 25 min. Before cutting, sprinkle with sifted powdered sugar. |
