Henry's poem about the wanderings of a gold coin - from the coin's point of view! - starts out with the fascinating image of the dark resting place of the gold being disturbed. Light appears and is then blocked by the miner's face. Henry writes frequently from strange points of view, as in his Memoirs of a Pine Tree.
