On February 29, 1828, Henry Livingston died at the age of 79. His death was noted in the family bible. His mind was serene and tranquil throughout, and death seemed disarmed of its terrors in the dissolution of our father. Thus, after a pious, useful and happy life, we may truly say, he fell asleep in Jesus.
