In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at last trump, for the trumpet shall sound, the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruption must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 1 Corinthians 15:52

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? the sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law; but thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:55

Therefore beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, ummoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord: forasmuch as ye know that your labours are not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58

I.

LORD, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hast formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting thou art God. Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, return ye children of men -   Psalm 90:1     who knoweth the power of thine anger? So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.   Psalm 90:9
