his kingdom shall come,
and he must increase.
Behold he hath laid in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner-stone, a sure foundation;
and upon this rock he will build his church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
The hands which laid the foundation, his hands shall also finish it;
and he shall feed the church of God,
which he hath purchased with his own blood.
He will be unto Zion a wall of fire round about, and the glory in the midst of her,
and upon all the glory shall be a defence.
Glorious things are spoken of the city of God.
God is in the midst of her;
she shall not be moved;
God shall help her, and that right early.
There are many adversaries;
1 Corinthians 16:9
many that say, who is the Lord?
we will not have this man to rule over us;
nevertheless, the counsel of the Lord that shall stand, and he will do all his pleasure.
He will gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
He will say to the north, give up, and to the south, keep not back;
bring my sons
from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;
all Israel shall be saved,
and the fulness of the Gentiles shall come in.
The stone that was cut out without hands, shall smite the image, and become a great mountain, and fill the whole earth;
and all flesh shall see the salvation of God.
And now, rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous, for praise is comely for the upright.
Bless the Lord at all times, and let his praise be continually in your mouth.
Ascribe ye greatness unto our God;
saying, with the ten thousand times ten thousand,
and thousands of thousands round about the throne:
worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive honour, and riches, and wisdom and strength, and power, and glory, and blessing.
Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
and hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father:
to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever.
- Let this be your song in the house of your pilgrimage.
