hence forth: yea saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. Revelation 14:13     They have fought a good fight, they have finished their course, they have kept the faith; 2 Timothy 4:7     and are more than conquerors through him that loved them. Romans 8:37

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. Psalm 116:15     They receive the end of their faith, even the salvation of their souls. Hebrews 10:39     They die the death of the righteous, Numbers 23:10     and their end is peace. Psalm 37:37     The day of their death is better than the day of their birth. Ecclesiastes 7:1     They fall asleep in Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:18     That day they are with him in paradise; Luke 23:43     and their flesh shall rest in hope. Acts 2:26

The righteous are taken away from the evil to come. Isaiah 57:1     Their mourning is ended, Isaiah 60:20     sorrow and sighing is fled away, and they come with songs and everlasting joys, Isaiah 35:10     to the general assembly of the church of the first born, which is written in heaven, and to the spirit of just men made perfect. Hebrews 12:23     They

have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb; and are therefore before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. Revelation 7:14     They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sunlight upon them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of water; and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. Revelation 7:16

These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. Hebrews 11:13     Ye therefore, brethren, who have obtained like precious faith, through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ, and unto whom exceeding great and precious promises are given, 2 Peter 1:1     that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature: 2 Peter 1:4     give diligence to make your calling and election sure; 2 Peter 1:10     for so an entrance shall be
