himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God,
and brought in everlasting righteousness.
He who knew no sin, was made sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
2 Corinthians 5:21
He was made a curse for us,
and suffered for sins, the just for the unjust,
that he might bring us to God.
1 Peter 3:18
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins;
1 John 4:10
that he might be just and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
And now God is in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them;
2 Corinthians 5:19
and commandeth all men every where to repent;
and hath raised up Jesus, and exalted him to be a Prince and a Saviour, to give repentance and forgiveness of sins.
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out;
when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
This is also the work of God, and this is his
commandment that we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ.
1 John 3:23
For he that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life;
and he that believeth not the Son, shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed;
they have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
For as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name;
being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself; he that believeth not God, hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record
that God gave of us son.
1 John 5:10
He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.
