Daughter Mary was the last child of Catharine Livingston, born only six months before her mother died. Mary was 17 years old at the time of her father's death, and married 5 years later to Henry Leonard Davis of Waterford CT, with whom she had four sons. Still keeping it in the family, Mary's son, Rev. Arthur Breese Davis, married Charlotte Evelina Proal, the daughter of Mary's sister Susan Breese and Rev Dr Pierre Alexis Proal.
