ZACK MULHALL OUT ON BAIL
Berkeley Daily Gazette, 21 Jun 1904

St. Lous, June 21.-
Zach Mulhall, livestock agent of the St. Louis and San Francisco railroad, who shot three men on the pike at the World's fair Saturday night, has been released on bonds of $20,000. Colonel Ed Butler was his surety. This caused some surprise, as it had been decided to hold Mulhall pending the outcome of the wounded men's injuries.
