MULHALL SHOWS ARE DRAWING BIG CROWDS
Times Democrat, 27 Apr 1915

Forty-four hundred people Monday afternoon saw Miss Lucille Mulhall, champion horse woman of the world, come within two seconds of breaking her own record of 22 1-4 seconds for roping, throwing, and typing a wild steer. This proved, with one exception, to be the best time of the afternoon. An Indian cowboy from a ranch near Tahlequah tied with Miss Mulhall for a record of 22 1-4 seconds. The tie will be roped off sometime during the week.

The large crowd went wild with laughter at the capers of "Tiney," reputed to be the smallest bucking horse in the world. A reward of $10 was offered to anyone who could ride the miniature bronco.

"Bull dodging," cowboy relays, steer roping, and bronk riding exhibitions were given by the cowboys and girls of the Mulhall shows. Charlie Mulhall and his "Cannon Ball" were the feature of the bronk riding. "Cannon Ball" is the name of a horse reputed to be the most desperate outlaw horse ever led into an arena. The horse has thrown more good riders than any other outlaw horse up to date, according to its owner.

Miss Dollie Mullens gave an exhibition of trick and fancy riding on some of the well-trained animals with the Mulhall shows.

Miss Mulhall gave an exhibition of fancy roping, showing all the tricks of the lariat such as throwing the loop with her foot and lassoing a horse and rider. Miss Mulhall introduced "Bob Williams," her educated horse which was recently renamed in honor of the governor of Oklahoma, to the crowds.
