AUTO POLO
Zack and Lucille Mulhall are Only a Few
of the Many Features With the
Big Wild West Show

The Daily Pharos-Reporter, 24 May 1913

Although it is claimed for the Oklahoma Ranch Wild West that it is one of the most complete and interesting expositions of real border life ever organized, there is an evident desire on the part of the management to give the public even more than its money's worth. This is evidenced by the addition of the thrilling triple somersault-turning automobile to the already long list of features announced for the big show. Aerial automobiles that turn a single somersault in mid-air, have been more or less familiarized by the circuses, but those who attend the performances of the Oklahoma Ranch Wild West show when it exhibits in Logansport Friday, May 30, on the old baseball grounds on Columbia street, will have the novel and enlivening experience of seeing an auto polo match, in which racing machines are utilized instead of ponies. The act is a sensational one, and, according to preliminary reports, has created furore wherever the show has exhibited. This big act is evidently not allowed to interfere with the general magnitude or wild west character of the show. The Mulhalls, Colonel Zack, Lucille, and Georgie, famous riders, ropers and ranchers from Oklahoma; champions from the Pendleton Round-UP and Calgary Stampede; scores of blanket Indians in picturesque border dramas; sports and pastimes of cowboy land Mexican life, rough riding by wild Cossacks, and many other features, keep the interest at fever heat. The parade that inaugurates Wild West day, is said to be novel to an unusual degree.
