EIGHT HORSES IN ONE NOOSE
Cowboy with Zack Mulhall's Wild West
and Miss Lucille Star Attractions

Wichita Daily Eagle, 16 Sep 1913

Three-Day Roundup to Set Precedent in Kansas
Large Crowds Expected

Roping two horses at one throw is an easy task for Homer Wilson, chief of the cowboys, with the Oklahoma Ranch show, which gave two exhibitions in Wichita Monday. To prove it, the big cow puncher roped eight horses together and a minute later roped four of the horses by a twist of the right hand and with the left caught the other four.

So rapidly and accurately did Wilson throw the lariat that the crowd couldn't keep up with its applause as he accomplished the feats. He started with one horse and rider, then two, three, four five, six and eight.

Miss Lucille Mulhall, star of the show and daughter of Colonel Zack Mulhall, leader of the show, demonstrated that she is master of the lariat by fastening the rope upon her right toe and with a dexterous thrust roping a horse and rider.

The white charger that Miss Mulhall rides, is quite a dancer and likes waltzing. The horse is accredited as being the only animal in the world that can walk upon its knees.

It was estimated at the office of the big tent last night that approximately 5,000 saw the show during its two performances.

The streets were lined with out of town and Wichita people in the morning to see the street parade, which was headed by Colonel Mulhall. The show arrived in the city early Sunday morning which gave the performers and tent workers a needed rest.
