Miss Georgia Mulhall, who is in Parsons in the interest of the Mulhall Oil Company, received word today from her father, Col. Zack Mulhall, and D. D. Walker, who is also at Mulhall, Logan county, Oklahoma, in the interest of the Mulhall Oil Company, that the formation of the ground there is wonderful and that there is favorable material coming from the well. The well which is being worked now is known as well number 1 and so far the drillers have gone down 700 feet and are now into what is known as brown shale with streaks of oil in every draw of the hole. The holdings of the company in this section are 1,347 acres. This news will be of much interest in Parsons where there are a number of stockholders of the Mulhall company.
