GREATGRANDFATHER: ZACK MULHALL:
GRANDFATHER: JAMES HOMER BUTRIDGE:
FATHER: BRADLEY VAN DEUSEN:
MOTHER: JEAN AUDREY BUTRIDGE:
earned the greatest share of applause
NY Times, 26 Apr 1905
Miss Mildred Mulhall, the ten-year-old daughter of Col. Zack Mulhall, who was introduced as a Deputy Sheriff of Oklahoma,
earned the greatest share of applause. She rides like the veriest cowboy, and her white, boyish attire, knee breeches, white waist
and light sombrerok, added to her attractiveness. She gave a clever exhibition of throwing the lariat, and showed
conclusively that she can catch a horse on the run as well as the best trained lasso thrower on the plains.
Miss Lucille Mulhall rode several horses, one of them being a highly trained school horse, which walked on its knees as the final
trick of a long series of clever manoeuvres.
