Fifteen thousand cattlemen and visitors are here today with ten bands and a hundred rough riders for the ninth convention of the Oklahoma Livestock association. The meeting is the largest in the organization's history. Stockmen are present from Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma, Indian Territory and Missouri. The usual convention preliminaries were held today. Many papers are to be read during the three days' session. The great event is the riding and roping contest. Lucille Mulhall, daughter of Zack Mulhall, rode her cow pony into the Lee hotel last night.
