BY SPECIAL INVITATION
Miss "Bossie" Mulhall, Heroine of the Plains,
Will Visit President Roosevelt at the White House

The Indian Journal, 29 Nov 1901

Washington, Oct. 11.-
Society is looking forward with curious interest to the arrival here, accompanied by a cowboy band, of Miss Bossie Mulhall, daughter of Col. Zack Mulhall, of St. Louis and Oklahoma, who has received a special invitation to visit him at the white house. Miss Mulhall won the friendship of Mr. Roosevelt at a reunion of the rough riders at Oklahoma City last year, where she succeeded in riding several wild bronchos. She owns one of the largest ranches in Oklahoma.
