"Bessie Mulhall, daughter of Colonel Zack Mulhall, of Oklahoma, has received a special invitation from President Roosevelt to visit him at
the White House. Miss Mulhall will leave for Washington, accompanied by her father, shortly.
"Miss Mulhall won the friendship and admiration of Roosevelt at a reunion of the Rough Riders at Oklahoma City last year, where she succeeded in
riding several wild bronchos and roping steers.
"Miss Mulhall is said to be the original of 'Bossie' in Hoyt's 'Texas Steer.' She owns one of the largest ranches in Oklahoma, and
will take a cowboy band with her."
