Visits Exchange and Clubs
Chicago Daily Tribune, 10 Oct 1900

The Governor spent a comparatively restful day. He remained in his rooms at the Planters' Hotel all the forenoon, receiving Mr. R. C. Kerens and other local politicians. Many people from different parts of the West and South who had met Roosevelt at different times came in to renew acquaintances. Among the number were Colonel "Zack" Mulhall and his two daughters from Oklahoma.
