February Days
Daily Maroon - Feb 27, 1929

The wan whiteness of a
Winter's day
(A day in February)
Is not despondent
In its entirety,
It speaks softly
With hushed warning
Of days to come ...
Days of yellow warmth
And brisque blue skies ...
It foretells the birth
Of many flowers ...
The return of the birds,
(A slow paradise regained).
