Older versions of songs may play incorrectly on some players due to bug in program making mp4 file.
If your file's date is before March 25, 2007, you might want to download the video again.
ALL song videos are produced with the understanding that
NO PROFIT WILL BE MADE BY ANYONE in their creation or
subsequent copying.
VIDEO FORMATS
All videos with cream backgrounds are in MP4 format and are suitable for playing on your computer.
If you don't have an MP4 codec, you can get the
VLC Player or a free version of the
3ivx Player, which is also described
at the free-codecs.com website.
If the free software expires, 3ivx has a $6.95 player available at their
store.
All videos with gold backgrounds are extremely high quality MPEG-2 format, and are suitable for
playing directly on your computer, as well as for watching on your TV. You can convert the video into a form that can be burned to DVDs
through an "authoring package", such as the free, open-source authoring package which can be found at the Lifehacker.com site
VIDEO UPGRADE STATUS
All videos with pink background are original, that is, they were NOT remade on a digital editing system.
DVDs
There is currently no copy center for Blakes 7 DVDs. If you're interesting in
becoming one, please contact me.
BLAKES 7 EPISODE DVDs
The Blakes 7 episodes are available in PAL DVDs through Amazon.com UK. For people in the US, these
DVDs will play on your computer, but NOT on your TV. The only safe way to play them on your computer
is in an external DVD player devoted ONLY to PAL DVDs. When you put a DVD into a DVD drive, it's able to
tell whether the DVD is PAL or NTSC (US standard) and play the DVD correctly. But it will ONLY SWITCH
BACK AND FORTH something like 7 times. After that, it stays on whatever was played in it last.
So if you only have a single DVD player, you could get it stuck being ONLY able to play PAL DVDs. But
you're safe if you attach an extra DVD player to your computer and use it exclusively for PAL DVDs.
In order to keep some information out of public view, there are two parallel directories: "keepthissecret"
and "tv". The tv directory is accessible by search engines. The keepthissecret version of those
directories block search engines and are only accessible to fans through announcement links.
